James and his team carried out our garage renovation over the last 2 years in stages and they were excellent. Very easy to work with and very positive about the changes needed. It was a pleasure to watch the project evolve into a warm and comfortable transformation of the area. Highly recommended and they will be missed now completed (in a good way!)

We hired James and his team at Harlex several times for different jobs as we have been really satisfied with his great job. They are very nice to deal with and know what they are doing. They have a really good technical knowledge of everything around a house. They did some external insulation work which was really well executed. They are flexible and find solutions as there are always things that comes up and specific to a particular situation. We hired them again to do some roofing and plastering. The jobs were well done and they keep the site tidy. We would definitely recommend them.

We needed ground floor and first floor extensions on a well built 1920’s property. It was important that the quality of work matched the original as the new and old rooms ran together. The work involved a garden room, kitchen and bedroom enlargement as well as relocating services. The work was carried out professionally over a 5 month period with workers on site every day – which is a first! The final result is excellent and we parted on the best of terms – and he is now working on our son’s property.
